This pasta was created in honor of Sardinia’s  jewels, from which it takes its name.

Its shape is reminiscent of the pendants of the ancient Sardinian goldsmith’s art: striped and wrinkled. They show up elegant and unruly on the plate. They are produced by bronze drawing with slow drying at low temperature.

They go perfectly with sauces because of their roughness, but they are also perfect with vegetables and mushrooms.

Pastificio dei profeti is an agricultural pasta factory, which means that it not only makes pasta from wheat, but also grows and processes it.
